The Deborah Project, located in Timisoara, Romania, is a refuge for abandoned, abused and unloved young girls that range from 3 years to 21 years old. They are taken into care and looked after at either Deborah 1 - which cares for primarily younger children or Deborah 2 - for children from 11 years old upwards. 

Our goal at this project was to turn the empty attic space in Deborah 2 into two self contained flatlets so the older girls can get a feel for life on their own before they leave the project to live within the local town. 

As you can see from the photos presented, we are about 80% finished. Completion, hopefully, will be by the end of 2012 if we can raise the funds needed.
